ISSEGEAC

Although a 35km drive East, the medieval bastide town of Issigeac is one of the prettiest in the area and has a Sunday morning market that is well worth a visit.

The narrow town streets are lined with ancient houses of stone and timber framed construction that ouze character and charm, circling the church and Bishop's Palace. The dessert wine producing village of Monbazillac is nearby with famous Château where you can tour the château and sample the wines.
